The Strip

The Las Vegas Strip, known officially as Las Vegas Boulevard, is the most iconic and well-known avenue in the world. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, the Strip is home to world famous casinos and hotels, a popular destination for nightlife, shopping, and entertainment.

Whether you’re looking to gamble, party, or just take in the sights, the Las Vegas Strip is the place to be.

Downtown Las Vegas (DTLV)

The original townsite and primary gaming area of Las Vegas prior to the Strip, now the urban core of the Las Vegas Valley, features a variety of hotels and casinos, holds free concerts, and has great places to eat and drink.

Downtown is located in the center of the Las Vegas Valley just north of the Las Vegas Strip, centered on Fremont Street, and is home to the Fremont Street Experience.

Locals' Casinos & Hotels

Las Vegas residents sometimes skip the hustle and bustle of the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas in favor of experiences closer to home. Locals’ casinos tend to have looser slots and lower table limits than their Strip counterparts. Food and beverage prices are slightly lower the farther you move away from the Strip too.

A variety of entertainment choices like movie theatres and bowling alleys making checking out a locals casino worth the trip.
